Welcome to the online education guide of the pre-master program Artificial Intelligence & Engineering Systems (AI&ES) of Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e)!
This online Education Guide contains information about the study program of the pre-master AI&ES within the TU/e Graduate School as well as regulations and various types of practical study information. The information on this online Education Guide applies to the academic year of 2023-2024 and it is updated regularly throughout the academic year.
Additionally, all students are added to the CANVAS page 5AI&ES-INFO.This is the communication channel for all students of the pre-master and master program AI&ES. Via announcements you receive important information, messages and updates about your program.To make sure you don't miss any announcements, it's important that you turn on the notifications for the announcements and that you make sure you subscribe to one or more of the sub channels to receive the information that is applicable to you.
Introduction pre-master program AI&ES
The pre-master program AI&ES is a deficiency-resolving program to bridge the gap in theoretical knowledge between the student's previous education and the master program AI&ES. The pre-master program AI&ES consists of a total of 30 ECTS and lasts one academic year. Students who have completed the entire pre-master program AI&ES can continue in the master program AI&ES.
The master program AI&ES is offered as a joint co-operation between 7 TU/e departments:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Applied Physics
- Mathematics and Computer Science
- Biomedical Engineering
- Built Environment
- Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences
The department of Electrical Engineering is the leading department for the pre-master program AI&ES.
Please note, enrollment in the pre-master program AI&ES is only possible in September. It is not possible to start the pre-master program AI&ES in February.
