Honors Bachelor Demo Day
At the end of your Honors Bachelor year, the Honors Academy organizes the Honors Bachelor Demo Day. This event is also a great opportunity to present your project / Honors work to a panel and your peers, family and friends.
Inspiration workshops Personal Development
During the period in which you are working on your PDP, the Honors Academy organizes an evening with different workshops to help you refine the PDP. This evening will consists of two rounds of workshops on themes that are frequently incorporated in PDP’s of Honors students (e.g. time management, pitching). Based on your provisional PDP and on your interest, you can choose two themes you want to focus on. You will need to sign up for the workshops, information on which will be made available via CANVAS. Please note that the number of places in the different workshops is limited, so make sure that you apply in time. After two rounds of workshops, there will be an opportunity to catch-up with your fellow Honors students in a more informal setting.
Interim presentations
Halfway through your Honors bachelor year, the Honors Academy organizes interim presentations. You and your team are asked to give a short presentation (max 10 minutes) to your peer Honors students from another track in parallel sessions. The goal of this presentation is to make students from other tracks understand the essence of your project, to ask others for input for their own project, and from an audience perspective to give input to somebody else’s project.
The following topics should be part of the group presentation:
- What is the goal of your project?
- What challenge does your project address or what problem is your project going to solve?
- What will be the final project deliverable(s)?
- What have you achieved so far and in which project phase are you now?
