Students who would like to take the Philosophy Certificate should register by filling out the online form via the Osiris Application portal.
Registered students will be informed about any changes to certificate courses and about course related activities. The certificate is awarded upon completion of the curriculum and is an addendum to the student’s (MSc) diploma.
Master's programmes usually allow taking certificate courses as electives. Most of the Philosophy Certificate classes are Master's level courses. In most cases you can use those Master's level courses for the optional classes in your Master program. However, a certificate is only rewarded if you completed at least 10 ects on top of your regular course programme. Your programme's study advisor should be able to tell you if your programme does so. To see which classes are on Master's level see the curriculum.
Once you have completed the requirements for the certificate this is what you need to do in order to obtain the certificate:
- Fill out the Application Form;
- Obtain a copy of your study results (Bachelor and Master courses). You can receive this via the secretary of your faculty; If applicable: add information on courses not attended at the TU/e, but at a different university.
- Submit these documents by email to Dr. Elizabeth O’Neill.
After the graduation you can pick up the certificate at the secretariat.
If you have any questions about the curriculum, please contact the Certificate Programme Director Dr. Elizabeth O'Neill.
