Coherent packages

The department of Electrical Engineering offers the following coherent packages:

• Artificial Intelligence & Engineering Systems: signals, probability and data bases
• Care and cure 
• Connected world
• Electric and hybrid vehicles 
• Electrical power conversion and delivery
• Intelligent vehicles 
• Machine learning and information processing for communications
• Nano-science and technology 
• Neuro engineering 
• Neuro system design
• System design and analysis 

You are free to choose coherent packages from other departments.

Please note: 

• The major course 5EWA0 Electromechanics is compulsory prior knowledge for the course 5XWF0 OGO Design project on wireless charging which is part of the coherent packages Introduction in electrical engineering & Introduction in automotive.  
• The coherent package System design and analysis is only valid as a coherent package for EE and AT students.  
• If both coherent packages Care and cure and Neuro engineering are chosen, this combination is worth 25 credits in coherent packages in the elective space.
• The coherent package System design and analysis brings together four courses, from which any combination of three courses can be chosen.
• If the coherent package Intelligent vehicles is chosen within the major EE, this package only contains the two courses 5XSJ0 and 5XSK0.
• Students are not allowed to choose both 5XSL0 Fundamentals of machine learning and 2IIG0 Data Mining & machine learning due to overlapping content. 
• The coherent packages AI&ES Signals, systems and control & AI&ES Signals, probability and data cannot be chosen by students from the majors Electrical Engineering & Automotive Technology since these coherent packages contain major EE & AT courses
