ITEC

The Impact of Technology (ITEC) program consists of study components Engineering Ethics and Engineering for Society and Studium Generale activities, which make students aware of and teach them how to assess the effects of technology on people and society, and how to integrate user, societal and entrepreneurial considerations into the design and/or research process with an ethical mindset. 

The ITEC program (cumulatively) comprises: 

• Engineering Ethics study component of 5 credits; 

• Engineering for Society study component of 5 credits; 

• At least five activities, marked with an ITEC logo, of Studium Generale of the TU/e.
